How is DoorCam installed?

Install & Set Up

Here’s what you’ll need: your smartphone and everything in your DoorCam box. Download the DoorCam app on your smartphone and create an account. Insert the 3 D batteries into the back of DoorCam. Replace the battery back. Press the Reset button on the back of the device and wait for the LED lights to blink. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the device to your account. Voila! That's it!

How do I change the Wi-Fi used by my DoorCam?

To change the Wi-Fi DoorCam is using, you will need to first delete the camera from the account and then reset the device.

How can I change DoorCam's video quality?

How-to

Press ‘Menu’ located at the top left corner of the home screen. Select ‘Devices,’ then select the device to see the device’s setting. Go to ‘Video Quality’ and select Best, Average or Low. To implement the changes, you will need to press the white alert button on the back of your DoorCam.

I'm changing my DoorCam's location. Any other changes needed?

If you are changing DoorCam’s location without changing DoorCam’s Wi-Fi, simply place the camera over the new door. If you are changing DoorCam’s location and the Wi-Fi network, you will need to delete the device from your account and reset the device before proceeding.

How do I talk to a visitor through my DoorCam?

How-to

To talk and listen to your visitors, play the live feed from the DoorCam device. You can do so by pressing ‘ACCEPT’ when the incoming video comes to the app. The 2-way communication works just like a phone. With DoorCam's full audio duplex, you will be able to talk and listen at the same time.
