Doorcam 2 Installing, Pairing, Quality, and Care.
No problems thus far. I live in an apartment, upstairs with one neighbor sharing the outdoor stairs and landing. People on the sidewalk walking past the stairs trigger the Doorcam 2 but not people or vehicles beyond the sidewalk. The picture is clear and bright at day time, but reverts to Black & White at night unless the porch light is illuminated. Instructions are clear and easily followed and was able to pair the Doorcam 2 and my wi-fi router and iphone without incident. ONE THING FOR EVERYONE TO REMEMBER. The semi-conductors used in the Doorcam 2 are manufactured with ultra thin silicon dioxide wafers - glass. Slaming the door "will" eventually break the cam, so consider that when when buying and installing it.

Doorcam is a must for apartment living!
I live in an apartment building without security cameras in the interior hallways. The remo doorcam is such an important & amazing product. I had the original doorcam & just recently upgraded to the doorcam 2. The camera(picture) quality, battery life & special features are so much better. I absolutely love this product & would recommend it to anyone who wants a way to monitor what is happening outside their home with a product that is easy to install, and use. If you live in a home/apartment where installation through electrical outlets or screwing camera & hardware into the structure Isn’t possible the doorcam is for you. I wouldn’t live in an apartment without it. It is worth the money tenfold!!

Close to perfect
The good:
Installation couldn't be easier. Field of view is great. Motion detection alert time is good. No subscription required is definitely appreciated.
The not-so-good:
USB power does not work when you have a metal door. Confirmed with Remo support. If you plan to use batteries, this isn't an issue.
The camera sensor could be a bit better/faster, as motion blur obscures facial details when people walk by.
Although the app mentions setting up motion zones, I can't find any place to do so. Privacy zones would also be nice, especially since one of this product's niches is apartment-dwellers, where one's door often faces one's neighbor's door.
Hoping for 4k in Remo 3. :)

Phone app is easy to use, no electrician needed
We didn't want a doorbell cam, so the DoorCam 2 was a perfect option. The camera must be connected to a 2.4 ghz network router. We have a router that can do 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz, so we set up a separate 2.4 ghz network just for the camera. Having this camera gives me peace of mind when we travel. It's also very helpful when shipping companies say a package was delivered, but you know it wasn't. Tell them you have a camera that alerts you to any movement and they are much more likely to believe you. I also think this works as a great theft deterrent, since it can't be yanked off the wall like other cameras.

Have used this product for several months and works well, it has one issue that is a simple fix by remo, not sure why they have not addressed this after requests, but the camera needs to have an optional accessory or as part of purchase, the ability to have camera arm adjustment. If hanging over front door and have a screen door, the camera's wide view functionality is cut off by the top rim of the screen door, where only the front porch and a very small portion of its wide range ability is visible. This is a disadvantage that remo could easily fix so the camera could come down a few inches and thereby utilize its entire view range.

Perfect Door Camera
I had purchased the 1st Remo cam, and after a week of trying, to get it going, returned it. But they really stepped it up with the
Remo+ Over the door camera. There was no problem connecting, and the playback is very sharp.
I give it 5star's.

Is Door Cam 2 available in the UK?
Unfortunately the DoorCam 2 is not available in the United Kingdom just yet. Although you can purchase directly on Amazon and have it shipped to the U.K. this may result in the device performing in a less than optimal manner as our server points to the geographic confines of the United States.

Will the DoorCam 2 work better (viewing angle. motion sensing) than the original DoorCam when a glass storm door is installed? The frame of the glass storm door can narrow the vertical view such that only the front porch (not walk) are in view.
