How do I install my RemoBell W?
Here are video instructions for installing your RemoBell W.
How do I reset my RemoBell W?
To reset your RemoBell S, first push the Hex-L key included in the package into the reset hole on the side of the bracket and then hold the reset button on the side of the device for about 5 seconds Once the LED light flashes up and down, your RemoBell W is ready to be reset.
Afterward, open up the Remo+ app, click on Menu icon on the top left corner and select Devices. Press the trash icon in the bottom right corner, select the device you wish to reset, and press "Yes" to delete your RemoBell W.
You will now need to re-register your device on the Remo+ app. Press the plus icon on the bottom left corner to add your device, select "RemoBell W," and choose your time zone.
Switch to your phone’s Wi-Fi settings, leaving Remo app open. Please DO NOT CLOSE THE APP. Connect to the RemoBell W network. You may get a popup message that says "internet not available" or "unsecured network." You can ignore this message.
Once you’re connected to the RemoBell W network, switch back to the Remo app and select your home-wifi network. If you don't see a list of your local networks, you will need to press "continue" at the bottom of the screen. Input your Wi-Fi password, then press Done. You may have to wait up to 3 minutes for RemoBell W to successfully connect to your network.
Once you see the "Successful!" message, your RemoBell W is ready for use!

Just what I needed
Bought direct from Remo Ebay shop. Camera has good field of view, catches both the stairs and ramp leading up to the house. Took about 5 minutes to install and set up.
Had to play with the sensitivity setting a bit to get rid of the false triggers. I get notifications in about 1-2 seconds, maybe a upto 2 second delay with the audio. Only problem I have encountered is that the doorbell button does not light up, working with Remo on this now.
I think the free 3 day cloud storage will be more than enough.
No more packages dropped at the door with out my knowing about it. UPS/Fedex are famous for leaving stuff and not ringing the doorbell.

A decent doorbell/camera
The RemoBell W has a high quality picture and an unbelievably sensitive microphone. You can actually hear what the person in the back of a delivery van is saying to the driver while parked at the curb about 12 feet away. Only two peeves about this model; motion sensitivity is a bit too much even when set on low, and it's a bit slow to detect cross motion. Cars going by at about 10 mph have already gone by before recording is activated. Usually I just see the car seconds before going out of view. Night vision is really good though and the installation was easy enough that I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn't mind having to connect a couple of wires together.

Works.
Works as advertised. Doorbell rings. Can see who is st the door.
The sensitivity is to high even with the low setting. There is no way to select the sensitive zone.
Night mode kicks in at the wrong time during the day. Picture has purple tint in night mode. Wish it just tracks local dawn to dusk +/- times.
Live video has fish eye correction, but not stored video.
Free 3 day storage is great value.

Good Product
Fairly straight-forward to install, but I did have to move it in order to secure the set screw. Initially, it took some patience to get the wifi connection to go through; however, now that it's been established, I can pull up the live view on my phone with little delay. Very rarely get actual ring notifications, but the motion notification is near instantaneous. It is disappointing that the playback is only in the fisheye mode, but if you are looking live, you can toggle it to compensate and straighten out the view. I knew this prior to my purchase, but I was hopeful (and still am) that they'll add this feature in an update. The largest selling point for me is the three day rolling storage of cloud-based videos. In this price range, I simply did not want to commit to spending more money each and every month to view recorded footage. And I think three days is plenty of storage. I have turned the sensitivity all the way down, but it still gets activated by cars that drive by on the street in front of my house. Luckily, we don't live on a very busy street.

I can't get my RemoBell W to work with my existing doorbell, which is digital. When I try to hook in the doorbell wiring, all it does is consistently ring. Also, the motion detector sensitivity is too sensitive. Every time a car drives, it goes off.
Hello,
I would recommend contacting our support for the digital chime at support@remoplus.co. It could not be compatible with Remobell W which could be the cause. In the Remo+ application, there is a setting to change the motion sensitivity I would recommend putting that as low if you live in a high traffic area zone.

On the RemoBell W, what is the function of the power pack - to power the mechanical chime, or to send power to the doorbell itself? I have a mechanical chime that I plan to abandon (installing new cabinet where the chime currently sits) for a digital one
I did not use my existing chime. I bought an adapter on Amazon ($17). Plug it into an outlet and connect it directly to the camera, no extra wiring required:

does your mechanical door bell still work with this??
Some existing chimes work with Remo+ products. They need to be connected to the Remo+ device. The existing doorbell button will not function with the Remo+ device. Visitors have to press the button on the Remo+ device.
