How do I decrease the number of motion notifications that RemoBell sends me?

Troubleshoot

If your motion sensor is turned on, then RemoBell will pick up each movement and alert you whenever there’s motion at your door. If you are experiencing many motion alerts and videos in a short period of time, here are some things you can do:

Decrease the Motion Sensitivity to a lower level.

You can do this by opening Menu, selecting Devices, then going to Motion Sensitivity. To save your settings, ring the doorbell button on the front of the RemoBell and wait for the chime to sound. Once your RemoBell chimes, then your new Motion Sensitivity setting has been saved.

Adjust the frequency of the Push Notifications that you receive.

This is generally the best option if your RemoBell is picking up on motions that you want to receive. You can change the frequency by opening Menu, selecting Devices, then going to Push Notification. To save your settings, ring the doorbell button on the front of the RemoBell and wait for the chime to sound. Once your RemoBell chimes, then your new Push Notification setting has been saved.

Turn off your Motion Sensor.

Go to Menu, click on Devices, select the device, and turn the Motion Sensor off. To save your settings, ring the doorbell button on the front of the RemoBell and wait for the chime to sound. Once your RemoBell chimes, then your changes have been saved.

If there are alerts when there is no motion or rings occurring, please contact our support team at support@remoplus.co or call us at 888-985-1849.
